So I'm going to be using my capture card;it has worked before, but I want to upgrade my streaming machine because its an old 32 bit quad core (I can hardly believe that even existed). I've only used the streaming software that comes with the capture card for the most part, but have used OBS on occasion. Currently that computer has no graphics card, and the default program with the capture card works fine. If i go for a new system, I would love to just run it headless and not even buy a graphics card to save the money and put in into a better CPU! Is this possible? Is all encoding through the CPU and I just connect my graphics card, or is there an absolute need for the graphics card to do encoding?
