Does anyone else have a problem with Google Chrome crashing while using OBS? Every time I start streaming Google Chrome crashes and every time I refresh it, it keeps crashing.

No, I can't reproduce this one, I've never had my Google Chrome crash because of OBS. Reinstall Chrome perhaps?

OBS doesn't actually interact with other programs unless you use game capture, and I've never heard of this happening before, so something else is going on here.

Recently, I've been having a prompt "Shockwave flash player has crashed", and this is while using OBS, but I can't say for sure if OBS is causing it.

Yes. Chrome crashes on me when i go into software capture mode and tell it to take a specific window. In video capture device mode or game capture mode, this does not occur.

This started happening to me as well with the v0.552b release. I don't have anything to prove it's Chrome, but it seems to only be when I'm streaming.

I'm having this issue as well. Shockwave Crashes shortly after I start streaming. I haven't tried using any other browsers yet as I've always used Chrome.

Hm, I haven't heard of this before this thread, but it's funny how others will chime in "oh I have that too! So it's not just me?", so I'm glad you made the thread.

Very interesting. I don't quite know how to answer though, OBS shouldn't be the fault because it doesn't do anything to other programs unless you use game capture, which is the only thing that actually goes digging around in other programs.

It feels like it would have to be something related to flash's hardware acceleration (which causes it to render with directx), and drivers. If possible, could you try disabling hardware acceleration (if it's on or present, at least)?

The problem is Disable Aero, if you don't disable that will be ok.

SOLUTION:
1- Setting / Video / Disable Aero "OFF" / Apply
2- Click on your Windows to show and click on Properties / Compatibility Mode "ON"
