I just got this computer today, and i wanted to record some gameplay (Minecraft). Recording goes smooth until i open minecraft then the video just stops. Continues to record audio but it halts at the point in the recording i open minecraft. I have it set to record in 720p at 30fps. I have fiddled with the bitrate but that didn't solve anything. Also im getting high encoding warning when i open minecraft but it reports no dropped frames

PC Specs:
intel i7-4510
8GB RAM

since your cpu is quite weak due to the fact that its called i7 its not really an i7 its rather comparable to an i3 because you only got 2 hyperthreaded cores (4threads).

i would suggest since you only try to record to use
preset ultrafast
bitrate 15000
buffer 15000

set quality to 10 or use a custom command for a higher quality goal crf=18

and use either window or game capture if possible
