Hey,
First time poster. Was testing out OBS and was liking everything about it, but I've noticed that my ping is spiking, which never happened with other streaming applications. I ran a speedtest and my ping was 10ms, download was 50mbps, and upload was 3mbps. This should be plenty to stream without any lag spikes.
My settings for OBS is as follows:
Quality balance: 5
Max Bitrate/Buffer Size: 1000
Audio Bitrate: 96
FPS: 25
Resolution downscale: 1.50
I'm using Game Capture for League of Legends
When playing League of Legends I average a ping of 50ms. When I'm running OBS it stays at 50ms, but as soon as I start streaming it jumps from anywhere from 50-100. This affects my gameplay and I feel shouldn't be happening given the results of my speedtest.
Can anyone help me?
