Hi guys I'll try to explain what's going on as succinctly as possible, and some of the things I've tried to do.
So I've been trying to do local recordings of a few older games on GOG, ones that run at a lower resolution than my monitors native resolution.
These games don't get picked up on OBS it's just a black screen, however it does get the audio!
I tried to mimic the recording settings of OBS as the same as the resolution of the game, so the game was 1024x640 and I matched that in the Base Resolution section. It still came up black when I tried to record footage.
As a side note I also noted any game with a lower resolution than native would sometimes shove all my windows to the very far side of my screen...weird?
Anyway I was wondering how people record lower resolution stuff on OBS? As I'm sure as hell having trouble :D
