Bug Report Getting a microphone error

I am getting the 'An error occurred initializing microphone audio - it may not be plugged in, or another application could be using it in exclusive mode.' I have checked my cable it's plugged in, I even have the 'exclusive' unchecked in the properties and this error is persistent no matter the changes I try and do.

How do I get a log file to show? This only started happening on the latest update of OBS.

Ah okay, thanks for the information. Usually just means it's in exclusive mode and in use somewhere else.

Okay, after restarting and doing the tick offs after my sound was reinstalled, it seems to have set OBS settings off again with the error is I re-checked and it's permanent again.

I dunno what is going on, but skype isn't a priority and it's off.... so, it's not skype, but it seems OBS isn't refreshing the devices properly or something.
