Hello everyone.
I currently do a single-PC stream using a 4790k, and I am starting to feel the impact on the CPU with newer games like Fra Cry 4 and DayZ (I know it's terribly optimized)
After deciding not upgrading to a 5960x but instead buying a second PC for streaming I have decided the following:
Streaming PC:
Generic MoBo
Generic DDR3 8GB
GTX 750 (had issues trying to preview with onboard before)
i7 4790 (no overclock, just the 4.4 Turbo)
Avermedia ExtremeCap U3 (USB 3 capture card, 1080p 60 FPS, but I'll be downscaling to stream @ 720p60fps)
My main concerns, after some reading in the forum:
1) Will I really not be able to use my main monitor @ 120hz? I will be doing something like:
Gaming PC GTX 780 DVI > Main gaming monitor
Gaming PC GTX 780 HDMI > Input of the Capture Card
Would I have to use 60hz at my main monitor? If so, I'll just drop the project right now as CS:GO @ 60hz looks terribly bad.
2) The streaming PC will be running all the alerting / software for a decent stream (followers, subs, donations) but the sound will come out the streaming PC output.
Would a Behringer Q802 help me with this? Is there a way to make it so I hear what's on Streaming PC as well?
3) Grounding issues. My home here in Brasil has no grounding on the building. Would using those P2/P10 adaptadors with grounders help with this? I really don't crappy static noise in the stream background.
Also on a different matter but important nonetheless:
I currently have a Avermedia Live Gamer HD and I could not make it look good. Using 720p60fps makes the image look ugly and blurry. And using 1080p makes it look beautiful, as it is on the monitor, but the 30fps looks really choppy on games like CS:GO.
Is it really just hardware limitation (which is what is going to make me buy the U3, so I can send a 1080p60fps image to OBS and downscale from there) or is there a chance my card is faulty?
---
On a side note, I've been streaming for around a year @ twitch.tv/etrnlwait
I run a dual-language stream so if any of you want to drop by to see how the quality looks at the moment, feel free to do so
I'm sorry for the long post but thank you all for all for helping!
Have a nice weekend guys :)
