Question / Help GameCaptureHook64.dll corrupt?

I have a question, and it's probably stupid. Is there some way that my GameCaptureHook64.dll and GameCaptureHook.dll files got corrupt some how? When I try to do GameCapture, all I get is a black screen. I decided to reformat my hard drive and it worked just fine, for a few days. Now it is doing it again, black screen and everything. WindowCapture works just fine, it's just GameCapture that doesnt. I went to uninstall and reinstall OBS, and it said it couldn't overwrite/save GameCaptureHook64.dll... Any ideas? I really want to use GameCapture instead of WindowCapture for my streams!

What internet security software do you have installed?

i have Malwarebytes Premium installed. would that be it?

i disabled it and tested... CSGO Crashes now when it trys to hook in... even with anticheat hook

No, Malwarebytes shouldn't interfere with it. If GameCaptureHook64.dll is in use when you try to reinstall, just reboot first and try again.

it doesn't say GameCaptureHook64.dll is in use, so idk what's going on! i have rebooted and reinstalled a few times to no avail!

If you read the error message it should tell you why it was unable to replace the file. I'm guessing it was in use, as opposed to something like lack of privileges.

i'v restarted and uninstalled/reinstalled and i have the same issue still
