Question / Help Game starts lagging hard when I start stream.

I'm a CS:GO player and I want to stream but when i start streaming, the fps drops.

Without stream i have 70 fps during game which is enough for me + no lag at all.
WIth stream , the fps drops to 20~30.

I would appreciate all of your helps guys!


CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz
Memory: 6GB RAM
Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Operation System: Microsoft Windows 8
Windows Resolution: 1366x768
CSGO Resolution: 1366x768 (Full Screen)
Ingame FPS without streaming: 60-70 ( people say its low but i have no lag at all )
Ingame FPS with streaming: 15~30 (hard to play)

The system is not the most ideal for streaming, and the stream is somewhat high definition (a bit above 720p). My recommendation would be to try just a bit more downscale to reduce CPU usage. Could also be the video adapter as well, you don't really have a dedicated adapter there, which might be part of the cause as well.

The most optimal way to stream is to use a desktop computer. There isn't really an "optimal" way to stream on your laptop. The only real way to fix your FPS issues when streaming is to simply buy a better laptop, or a desktop system.
