Question / Help Game records at 90 FPS but when I watch the recording it's a choppy slow framerate

So when I replay the .mp4 file I'm outputting on my desktop, audio is fine. But it'll go from one frame, to one 5 seconds alter. It's really choppy

its because your game is moving faster than your video is capturing if you ether change your game fps to 60 or change obs to 90 it should fix it

Your cpu is not good enough to encode 1080p video @ 60fps.

Thanks to you both. What is it about a cpu that makes it able to record at 1080p? I would've intuitively thought that it had more to do with my GPU than CPU?
