Hello guys!
I've been trying to record Wargame:RedDragon with OBS, however the game doesn't show up in the drop-down menu for processes. I have latest version of OBS, with default plugins.
I've tried running them in admin, to no avail and also noticed that in the process manager, the game is listed running as a background process, unlike Steam and other applications, which are displayed in the drop-down menu. Might have anything to do with it?
I can select and record/stream using the hotkey to select my source when in-game usually, but it would be great if I could pre-select it before, for convenience purposes. :)
Any help or idea to solve it is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I have confirmed it has something to do with the game running as a background process. When I started the process manager now, it somehow got listed again as a main process and I could select it in OBS. As soon as I alt-tabbed back into the game tough, it went into bg process and disappeared again.
EDIT 2: Here is the method I can select Wargame process:
1. CTRL+Alt+DEL from ingame menu, choose process manager
2.Suddenly the Wargame3.exe appears to be running as an "Application" instead of a background process.
3.I can select it in OBS now.
4.I close the manager and alt-tab back into the game. Hooking in works as supposed, even tough if I want to edit the source, I can't find the game again, as somehow it returns to run as a background process.
5.Can record and stream well if I do not try to edit the source of it again.
