Hello,

I am a OBS user from Germany, I really like your Software but i have one Problem. My games are lagging while streaming. But the FPS in game are still good...
My Hardware should not be a problem.
I stream with the Nvidia Nvenc, 30 Fps...

I think you need more informations to help me, but i really dont know wich one. Just ask me ,)

Thank you very much
Greetings

Your game lags but your FPS is still good? Sounds like an oxymoron.

What are your system specs? Nvenc encoding takes the strain off your CPU and puts it onto your video card, so that might be an issue for you.

Ah, I can see why you say your hardware shouldn't be a problem heh.

Could you clarify what you mean by it is lagging but the FPS is good? Do you mean it doesn't lag when you're not streaming? Also, have you run any stress tests lately, or monitor system temps?

yes, i can stop the stream while playing and all laggs are gone.. it has to come from the Streaming, and yes i do some monitoring just this day.. Increased my CPU speed from 4,4 to 4,5 and my Vidocards about 100 Mhz...

Edit the "laggs" .. in german i would say it jerky.. I dont knwo if this translation match..

I meant stress testing as in monitoring temperature spikes and FPS drops and whatnot, not benchmark scoring. Have you tried streaming with the x264 encoding instead? I know we both would rather use Nvenc encoding but it tends to be less reliable and maybe that could be causing an issue for you as it did with me.

yeah sure.. for OC you have to monitore the Tempratures .. stress testing with benchmakrs... games.. and Prime95 .. not over 75°, i would say everthing is stable.
But No, i dont try the x264 .. i try it now maybe you can take look at the stream if you want... ( www.Twitch.tv/vho95 )
