Question / Help Game is too large for the screen and flickers while recording?

Hi All
I've started testing out OBS in the past few days for recording games and when I play normally the game fits the screen, but when I'm recording the game gets too big for the screen and flickers consistently. I've included a video of an example. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks

Last game capture log:

Is this the right way to do it? thanks

Yep, I see you are using monitor capture. If your games run in fullscreen mode, that will not work and can explain the flickering you saw.
You can use gamecapture for most games instead of a monitor capture, or you can run your games in windowed/borderless mode, then you could keep using monitor capture or use a window capture, assuming game capture might not work for your specific game.

Ahh, ok thanks, the tutorial I watched had both on at the same time so I did too, I'll try just game capture, thanks again

I just tried it with only game capture on and its just a black screen with the sounds in the background, any idea whats wrong?
