Question / Help Game Hotkey capture question

I tried searching but I wasn't sure if this was brought up before or not.

In Broadcast Settings I changed the mode to File Output Only. I then set a Start and Stop recording hotkey

I am able to capture just fine using Game Capture and selecting the application.
I changed to Use Hotkey since the next game didn't allow alt-tab and could no longer capture.

If I disable the Start and Stop recording hotkeys and click Start Recording then go into the game then the Hotkey setting works.

Are both hotkey settings not intended to work with each other?

Hmm I use a combination of start/stop recording and the gamecapture hotkey practically daily. So my answer would be no.
Are you using a special keyboard with its own software or any other tools that use hotkeys?
