I'm fairly new to streaming, and I just built my new pc and can run almost any game on high graphics and so on and so on. I was trying to stream Dota earlier to just test somethings out and I have no lag at all besides a delay in all my in-game actions. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong I changed all the graphic settings down. I'm going by suggestion OBS settings so could someone help me please?

Delay might just be ping issues. You can minimize ping issues by turning on "minimize network impact" in broadcast settings.

If that's not it then we'd definitely have to see a log file. See the sticky about how to obtain it at the top of the questions forum.

I just figured out this is not the solution changing the setting. It's definitely a ping issue as my regular ping is around 14-30. And when I just checked it's up in 700+. How do I get my log file, and any possible solutions?

If you're getting high ping, that means your stream and the game are competing too much for your internet connection. First try enabling "Minimize Network Impact" in Broadcast Settings, and if that still doesn't help, try lowering the bit rate that you are streaming at.

I fixed my problem by lowering my bit rate by quite a lot. That was the problem I suppose. Thanks everyone.
