Question / Help Game Capture/Window capture does not show game.

Hello, I'm having a problem where Game capture only shows a black screen and Window capture only shows a frozen screen when I preview/stream. The preview also shows obs being captured on the frozen screen. The game I'm trying to stream is called Mabinogi.

According to the log you set game capture to capture the wrong window. It was trying to capture your windows explorer browsers instead of an actual game. You may have to go back in to its settings and reconfigure it to capture an actual game.

New log after checking the settings of trying to use window capture and making sure it was set to capture the game, not windows explorer browsers.

Oh, I see where it shows what I'm supposedly capturing. On that log, it says skype.exe, although I doubled checked to make sure it was capturing the mabinogi window. I selected mabinogi on the dropdown.

According to that log, you're not actually using game capture though. Only window capture. I'm somewhat confused (also sorry for hte late response)

If you use game capture, I'd suggest setting up a hotkey. This way you click on the program, then hit the hotkey and BAM it records that specific program even if you click on another program. It will only switch once hitting that hotkey. Personally I use the "Home" key. With this hotkey set up it will not automatically pick a program, you will still have to hit it once your stream is started to load it up.
