Question / Help Game Capture used to work, now only displaying sound

I am trying to do a game capture of Shadow of Mordor. I have gotten OBS to successfully capture the game before, but now when playing the saved .mp4 file in VLC, it's just the VLC logo and no picture, but it does play the sound. About 15% of the time the file is unplayable. What is strange is that the logo on the .mp4 files usually shows a screenshot of the movie, so there seems to be at least some part of the video capture embedded in the file.

You might wanna stream at 720p, your CPU is not powerful enough for 1080p encoding and playing Shadows of Mordor at the same time.
And also save your recordings as .flv not .mp4.
