Let me start off this post with the fact that I completely understand that game capture is not the 'ideal' capturing feature. However, performance wise, it greatly surpasses Window Capture for me. So, I hate streaming using any other way. I should also note that typically (before a few days ago), I have no issues with any of my settings. Streaming at 60 FPS (for viewers) actually SEEMS like 60 fps. However, I've been getting remarks that my stream has been stuttering, and was not nearly as smooth as usual- this was confirmed after I watched a couple of VODs. Simply put, the stream just stutters every 3 seconds, which makes for a horrible streaming experience. Now that I think about it, I just recently installed the new Nvidia drivers, which may be causing an issue in this situation. But, the CoD AW SLI profiles included are pretty needed.
Also, I feel like I should ask this question: Is it true that Windows 8 has great Window Capture performance? On Windows 7, it just feels like one of the worst for me.
Important PC specs if anyone would like to know:
- SLI GTX 680's (Overclocked)
- i7 3770k (Overclocked to around 4.5)
- 16GB RAM
Everything else should be relatively unnecessary to list.
Thanks in advance for any responses! Log file is attached
