Question / Help Game capture source stops working after loading screens

Ever since a couple of patches ago, in most games I play OBS stops picking up the game capture image after loading screens.
If I go from lobby to game in a moba it turns black.
If I go from character select to ingame in a MMO it turns black
If I zone in an MMO it turns black.
and so on.

In many cases, I can fix it by unticking and re-ticking the game capture source..
or changing the game from fullscreen to windowed and back..
or alt+tab'ing to windows and back.
But just as often, none of the above does the trick, and I spend ages messing with the stream to get it working, if at all.

Anyone got an idea what's going on here?

I've so far had this happen in EQ Next Landmark, Titanfall, Southpark the stick of truth, 7 days to die, Prime World and The Elder Scrolls Online. - which, are all the games Ive tried to stream for the past few weeks. Many of this I had streamed prior to a few patches ago with no issue.
