Question / Help Game Capture Doesn't Work

Hi all,

Before I start, I'd like to point out I'm very new to OBS and I do not know technical terms about computers in the slightest, so it'll need to be dumbed down for me, 'cos the likelihood of me not knowing something is high.

I'm trying to make a set-up for when I start streaming Pokémon using 3DS Capture, and I've been using an emulator to put the windows in so that I can decide where everything goes.

I tried inputting the windows through Game Capture, and it won't ever appear, it is completely transparent (or black on Window Capture). I have tried fiddling with the settings here and there, but I have no idea what any of it actually does.

I hear that because I'm using a laptop, I may have two graphics cards.. I cannot find a second one on my computer (and even if I knew I had a second one, I wouldn't know where to look for it) and so have no idea how to follow the tutorials on fixing the Game Capture.

I apologise that I am so useless with this, but using other software isn't much of an option as XSplit doesn't do what I'd like it to do.

I believe this is a log file from one of my preview streams that involved Game Capture, but if it's not I'll try uploading others: https://gist.github.com/d019adc352b4407c6e9f

Thanks so much.

What CPU does the laptop have?
If it is a dual-GPU laptop, both adapters will show up in device manager. (Most commonly intel + nvidia)

So probably only single-gpu if there's no nvidia or amd in addition to the intel.
If there's only one display adapter listed in device manager, that's not the problem, and it's probably something else.

Does screen capture pick up the contents?
