Question / Help Game Capture doesn't work. Black screen.

New here. I've been following guides on setting all this up but the game capture isn't working no matter what application I select. I've tried my games, skype, etc and it's just a black screen... how do I fix this?

Second problem:

I'm getting no red outline on any of my scenes to re arrange them when in preview mode. So when I use window capture (it works) but I can't move it around or position it or anything.. no option.

Are you on a laptop?

Enable edit scene for the second problem.

Thanks and no not on a laptop. And I have the card selected. It's the only option available..

What specific games have you tried?

I've only tried my online poker game and skype and firefox. None of those work. All blackscreen.

However, they work fine when I choose window capture. All of them work there.

So not sure why black screen when I set it up through game capture?

Game capture is geared towards directx and opengl heavy games and not browser based ones. Any browser based game is probably not going to work with it.

Games like DOTA, League of Legends, unreal, half life 2, and such will.

Oh ok hmm I guess I could try a couple others and see if it works or not.. but Skype and my Online Poker that I play is software based.

Skype hasn't ever been game capture compatible iirc.
