Question / Help Game capture black screen

I have been using OBS to record my games for a few weeks now. I have been using an old Radeon 5650 and game capture to do it. I just installed a GTX 760 yesterday and all I get from game capture is a black screen and the game audio. I was reading that precision/rivatuner could cause issues so I disabled the on screen display and tried closing precision but the problem persists and I don't know how to proceed.

edit: It appears my issue is only in fullscreen mode, which further confuses me.

Make sure no other programs that can hook the game to display any type of overlay are completely closed. This includes EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, Razer GameBooster, TeamSpeak Overlay, Fraps, Dxtory, etc. Close any program with that type of functionality, even if you aren't trying to use it while you're streaming. You might also try getting the latest GeForce drivers from http://www.geforce.com/drivers and doing a clean install (select "Custom Install" and then check the "Perform Clean Install" box).

I did try closing precision and rivatuner and still had this issue. I will double check I have the latest drivers and double check that precision is actually closed.
