I don't know how to really explain this. I just started messing with OBS and doing test streams. Anyways, when i bought my headset and tried recording some local gameplay for youtube, the first thing i noticed is that i can hear my voice in headphones as i speak. And after some research i found out that i have to go into windows/recording devices and set my PC to listen to my mic and play it back on a different audio device from the one i am using to actually hear system sounds. This got rid of that problem. However, when i try to stream with OBS, and i use my headset, i can see in OBS (on that main page mic and speaker loudness setting) that my game audio is somehow playing through the mic. So i turn down the game volume down to 15% and raised mic volume up to 100%. But since somehow the game audio is also playing through the mic, this has no effect on the actual loudness of my stream. It is very hard for people to hear my voice over game volume.
