Hello everyone,
I know that this is probably talked about somewhere else, but I'm having trouble getting the Game Capture to work when the game is in full-screen mode. So far, this is affecting my Steam games (Mass Effect, Civ V, Fallout New Vegas) and my Origin games (Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2). The only game I've been able to get working is Minecraft, which I always play in windowed mode, so that's why it works. Mass Effect does work in windowed mode as well if I use Monitor Capture, but it loses the look I'd like to use on my YouTube videos.
I have looked at https://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5965 ("
Laptop? Black screen when capturing? Read here first."), but I haven't been able to get compatibility mode to work properly. From what I've seen, there's only the one option for the Video Adapter in the Video Settings menu.
Specs:
Manufacturer: Samsung
Model: NP355V5C
OS: Windows 8.1
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7660G
Processor: AMD 110-4600M APU
RAM: 8GB (don't think this will be too important, but just in case)
Please let me know if there is anything else I should offer in regards to information needed to fix my issue.
Thank you for all of your help,
LWP
