Aye seems to make my OBS Crash though, don't know if you've had the same issue?

Yup, crashing for me too. OBS crash logs point to the fuji webcam software causing the issue.

Sometimes it is showing
Fault address: 7FFA11513416 (c:\windows\system32\ntdll.dll)
and sometimes
Fault address: 7FFC032F6B97 (c:\program files\fujifilm x webcam\xapi.dll)
in the crash log.
I use Windows 10 (64 bit) with Webcam X v2.1 and OBS 26.1.1 (64 bit).
I think it worked a couple of days ago with exactly the same setup, but maybe there was a windows update or something similar.
Edit: The webcam X software has never worked for me as intended, I can not click anything in the app, everything is just grayed out (so I always have to manually fokus ugh). Any tips for a fix? :)

Fuji update didn't work, nor the OBS v27 update. The Manycam trick would work only by plugging via HDMI, that is pretty much of a bummer since the whole point of buying the Fuji was the USB magic. Gonna try the VLC workaround but my guess it's gonna be the same as with Manycam..in the meantime would be great if anyone found other solutions (additional note: looks like my OBS keeps crashing when closing it no matter what, tried reinstalling it but no luck also there)
UPDATE [still no fix]: I've installed the latest Streamlab, and it worked smooth and plain simply with just the usb cable..Fuji into OBS, no intermediaries..I was so happy! Until today, also Streamlabs started to crash as soon as the camera goes on and Fujicam software starts. Exactly the same pattern seen on OBS. I wonder if it has something to do with the other additional peripherals I've got plugged at this run (the external soundcard?) but even unplugging them there's no way back..heeeeelp plssssssssss

I had a similiar problem with OBS and fujifilm X webcam, it kept crashing left and right. I uninstalled OBS and then also deleted the folder from C:\Users\myName\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio
After that I reinstalled OBS and it worked again.
