Question / Help Frames skipping during local recording

I record league of legends with obs. I recently started to record again with obs. I recorded around 5 games, with 40fps while playing and recording. The video quality was fine. Until now. I just got finished recording a league of legends game. Its a 21 min game, and about 8-10 min are missing. The video is stuck on the same screen, i have to skip forward a couple minutes in the recording to get to the next playable section. Please help idk why it did this. I played really well that game, but its really laggy and skipping frames. Thanks

Don't know, do you have any log files from before when it worked? I bet it worked not very well before but now you're more experienced with OBS and now you see the faults....

I can post a log file from when it worked, if you'd like. Here.

17:43:59: FlushBufferedVideo: Flushing 3 packets over 67 ms
17:43:59: Total frames encoded: 4383, total frames duplicated: 1472 (33.58%)
17:43:59: Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 444 (10.13%)
17:43:59: Total frames rendered: 3576, number of late frames: 264 (7.38%) (it's okay for some frames to be late)

So you had over 1/3rd of your frames duplicated. I don't consider that to be anywhere close to working. My rule of thumb is that less than 1% of the frames can be duplicated for the video to look ok.

Im not very tech savvy, but all i know is that the recording was 30 fps, i had no issue playing and recording. Also, what do you suggest I could do to fix the issue, besides not recording..

As I implied earlier, you need a better CPU and GPU, that's the bottom line. A 1.8GHz dual core Sandy Bridge-era Celeron can't get the job done.

I just recorded a 34 min gameplay. With the same settings. So you're telling me it cant get the job done?
