Hi !

I almost had all the pieces to build a dedicated stream setup; so its what I did !
My stream PC :
Windows 7 64 bits
i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
4 gig 1600 DDR3
Intel exreme dx58so mobo
Avermedia Live Gamer HD internal capture card
and a oldschool NVDIA 7900 GTO graphic card

several people helped me to make sure I have the right OBS settings. my goal is to have the best quality stream possible. My upload is 10. So the issue is that my fps drops between 15 and 20 ish in OBS... I was told the GPU is not important in a streaming PC but since its kinda bad im wondering if thats the issue ? Also, I got all the latest drivers. I should be able to get a constant 60 fps right ? right now my OBS settings is at 720p. This is all new for me and has been very complicated to setup please help ! Thanks !

While the 7900 GTO is slightly faster in a general benchmark, than for example my HD5450 (which I use in my 2PC setup), for OBS the dxfeatures and memory bandwidth are the most important parts. It could be that your gto is simply lacking in that field. Maybe a log file can give us a bit more info.

In OBS select Help > Log Files > Upload last Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

Yea the GPU seems to be the problem. The geforce is just too old and slow :/
I got myself a really cheap 5450 HD, made sure it uses gddr5 ram and is not too old (generation wise). Think it cost me 30€ roughly.
