Without streaming my fps is normally above 100 fps but when I stream it goes down to 60 fps with small drops to 50ish when I played LoL. The small drops aren't awful but its definately a hinderence in my games considering I'm attempting to stream high ranked and more mechanically heavy games.

Laptop:

Ram: 8-gigs 64 bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 630m 2GB
Intel i7-3630QM CPU @2.40GHZ

I certainly feel like I should be to run league while streaming above 60 consistently given my normal fps not streaming. Any ideas of what is wrong? And if nothing is wrong and this is how my computer is.. well dang :(

I'm guessing your CPU and GPU just aren't strong enough. If you're going to be doing 60 frames per second, you should at least have 3.4ghz IMO.
Keep in mind that 60 frames per second is already difficult as it is, and when you play a game like LoL the CPU tends to spike a lot (due to teamfights for example)

My recommendation:
- Set your FPS to 30 if you want to keep your 60fps in game.

If you want to stream 60fps you're going to need a CPU from the latest i7 generation CPUs.
Just so you know, you'd better have a beast of computer to stream 60fps.

You can also set the x264 CPU preset higher up (superfast, ultrafast, etc) if you want to have better performance, but this will worsen your quality.

That's not true about the latest gen i7's. I know of people putting out 60 fps on 3770k's. What's more important is that it's not a mobile processor, because they are a lot less effective than desktop. I wouldn't touch the encoder preset, it's almost definitely going to just throw another spanner in the works for you.

Can you please post a logfile?
