I have recently upgraded my internet to be able to stream at 720 or 1080p however I continuously get about 3 FPS drops a minute in game when streaming League and renders me unable to play till PC recovers.
These are my settings and hardware any advice would be helpful as I am extremely keen to stream.
CPU: AMD FX(tm) - 8350 Eight Core 4.00GHz
Graphic card: AMD Radeon HD 7800 series
OBS settings:
Encoding:
CBR ticked, padding ticked, buffer size ticked
Max bitrate 1800
Buffer size 1800
Video:
1280 by 1020
1.5 downscale resolution
FPS: 25
Advanced: x264 CPU present superfast, main, 2 keyframes
Multithread ticked, scene buffering 400, Process priority class normal.
Use CFR ticked.
My issue is the stream is smooth and my normal fps is steady however around 3 times a minute I get a sudden drop in fps which goes down to about 7 and makes my computer unusable for a second or two then is good until next drop
