Hi. I recently bought a new gaming laptop (Alienware 17) and just downloaded OBS to start streaming again. However, as I play around with the settings, one of two things happen:
1) My stream is VERY pixelated with very bad resolution
2) FPS drops occur IN-GAME when streaming
I have tried to bring my buffer size and max bitrate down a considerable amount, but that decreases the resolution and quality of my stream severely. When I bring those two settings up, in-game fps drops and lag occur. I have also tried to downscale the resolution, but not sure what that has done.
