Question / Help FPS drop while streaming

I mainly stream low maintenance games (graphics wise) like Heroes of the Storm and Team Fortress 2. When I'm not streaming, my fps is great and I can play it on high or ultra settings no problem. When I stream, it becomes more choppy and I get a drop in FPS.

I feel like my rig is good enough to support higher FPS when streaming so maybe it's my OBS settings? I've also done some cpu temp tests and nothing gets above 60-64 degrees. Thanks for any help.

Try lowering your Webcam Resolution.

And set your Scene Buffering Time back to default which is 700
