Question / Help FPS Drop after streaming a while

Hello fellow Streaming Community,

I have a problem I can barely fathom. Sometimes, around after an hour, my fps drops extremely. I could imagine this is a common problem, but the game I'm streaming is Shining Force II from the SEGA Genesis via Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/71160/ Something I don't consider to weigth much on my PCs performance.

To give you an example: http://www.twitch.tv/nakuri_/v/4322336 Turn in at 47:40, there you will be able to see the game under normal performance. At 48:30, the fps drops. Pay attention to the music, it stutters quite clearly.

I had a stream or two where this problem didn't occured and if it happens, it occurs at different times, but most likely around one hour. The problems stop sometimes after ten minutes, but this doesn't make it more bearable.

OBS continues to stream at 30 fps, it's seems that only the game slows down. As soon as I end the stream though, the game goes on perfectly again. My CPU workload seems okay with fluctuating between 40-60%, the heat of my CPU is at 47C°.

(Do not mind the quality of the stream. Currently I'm only having 475 Kbit/s upload rate, so I'm streaming with a Bitrate of 375. This will change soon)

What could it be and what can I do?
