Question / Help fortnite lag whene streaming on a good pc and dual monitor

hi !
i play fortnite competitively and i tried to stream but it gets very laggy when i move around or build/edit
only when obs is open
RTX 2080
core i7-9700k
16 gb ram 3xxx mhz
1st monitor 144 hz
2nd monitor 60 hz
i tried every option in obs and streamlabs but still have the lag problem
i have good internet
i looked everywhere and tried everything on the internet
a friend of mine has a 1660 and it works perfectly with my same setting
please help

please follow that guide and post the log file for a recording or stream at least 5 minutes long. There is not enough information in your post to understand what might be going on.

Play your game in exclusive fullscreen, lower your 144Hz monitor to 60Hz, or buy another 144Hz monitor and use it for OBS preview. Mixed refresh rates cause stutter on windowed content.

It is a well documented issue.

Other things you can do is:
-Update Windows 10 to the newest version
-Turn on "Game mode" (Only on the newest version of windows)
-Change fps from 59.97 to 60 for the base canvas
-Since you have a RTX 2080, switch encoder to "New Nvenc" to reduce cpu load. It has quality in between medium and fast when compared to x264. https://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/broadcasting-guide

Try all of the "Other things" I mentioned at least and then post a log from those changes.
