Bug Report font problems

Hello,

thince yesterday i think i have a problem with obs outline font, if i used it some font goes invisible and them is not show correctly.

Unfortunately I've suddenly got the same problems. Certain fonts that used to work with outlines now just disappear entirely. Even the text-based global sources that I use regularly with outline text have all suddenly vanished. Reinstalling fonts and clearing the Windows font cache have done nothing to fix it. How is it at all possible to break fonts like this without an update? O_O

It appears the security update https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3045171 may have broken this behavior.

I uninstalled the update, and it fixed the problems. Many thanks for pointing out the update!

To anyone who has the same issue, uninstall Windows Update 3045171 from your computer. On Win7, this is done through Programs & Features, by clicking a text button on the left hand side.

I would strongly recommend against uninstalling the update. Your computer may be open to compromise by opening a malicious webpage or being served a malicious advertisement.

There is nothing we can do to fix this issue, the security update has caused some kind of regression in GDIPlus. We have no choice but to wait for Microsoft to fix it. It is listed under the Known Issues, so they are aware of it.
