I am aware that I am using a non-standard aspect ratio, I find the hassle of trimming it down in an editor less inconvenient then having to run two instances of OBS for two monitors, and that recording into MP4 risks data loss on power failure. Other than those two the log analyzer does not have any complaints.
I do not remember what triggered this, but I do have OBS setup to run on startup and enable the replay buffer, and one day I noticed the grayness. All other forms of video capture other than DXGI screen capture is fine.
