Hello Everybody! I am going to be building a desktop and also want to stream. I do not have a great internet 30mbps down and 2.5mbps down. I will be getting a i5 4670k stocked not sure how to OC but i will also be getting a kraken x40 140mm cooling and a 750Watt bronze or gold certified, As for the video card it will be a GTX 780 3gb with 8gb ram. Will i be able to stream with out lagging or having my stream look blurry/8bit quality?

I would strongly recommend that anyone building a streaming machine NOT cheap out and get an i5, but go for an i7 instead. It will grant you a LOT more freedom to use a slower (better quality) compression setting, and prevent you from splashing out again later when the i5 runs out of steam on a high CPU utilization game.

An i5 is great if you're ONLY gaming on it. But with the added load from real-time video encoding while livestreaming? It runs out of gas pretty easily, and you have to spend even more later to re-buy the right part.

If anything, I'd recommend getting a 'temporary' graphics card if the short-term money is the problem. They're a lot easier to change out than a CPU, and you can get by with a $60 budget card for a while if the money isn't there right now, and re-sell it at a mild loss to recoup later (or hang onto it as a spare/backup).
