Question / Help Filming TV Screen

I've looked for guides online to do this with no specific help found. Currently using a logitech webcam to record video, and we are looking to have a TV in the background where we can display various things (green screen, stream logo, videos of topics talked about, random koala bears) but it being a LED tv is INSANELY bright when shown on camera. All of the guides on filming a tv are for professional cameras or for recording and not live broadcasts. Has anyone successfully done this, or at least know what I need to do?

That all comes down to your TV and your camera. Nothing OBS can do about it.

Obvious question, have you tried turning the brightness on the TV all the way down? It may be hard to see in-person at that point, but if it shows up OK on camera, that's what you care about, right?

Even with brightness down all the way it isn't super clear. I'm wondering if upgrading the camera to something more professional would work better, but that is a big budget purchase we simply want to avoid at the moment.

So adjust the rest of the TV settings until it appears correct on camera? Again, this isn't an OBS issue, or something that can be fixed in software. Either TV settings, camera settings (unlikely), new camera, or new TV.
