I try to make a recoding (file output) with 854x480 resolution. But after i set "Base Resolution" to "854x480" (and the "Resolution downscale" is "None (854x480)"), my recoding's resolution is 852x480(even i restart OBS, the setting is retained on 854x480). How can i use "854x480"? BTW, how can i set the color space and bit depth?

Well then, is there any way to choose settings that let me re-up to Youtube without needing to resize the encoded video? I tested both 852 and 856×480, and Youtube resizes them to 640×358.

YouTube has had some resizing problems with my videos, too. I think it's just YouTube being YouTube again. But if there's a real solution to this (changing formats/codecs etc.), great!

It’s probably not an option for most people because there are no comments or monetization options, but I think Mediafire’s video player is pretty nice: sample vid (480p60). If the player doesn’t work well for a viewer, he can always click on "download file" and stream it with PotPlayer / MPC / whatever.

Wow, that Mediafire looks pretty slick!

But yeah, the only reason I use YouTube is because of all its good properties. And that Mediafire player has none of those. :/
