File (mkv) didn´t save after recording, stopping recording was taking way too long so I clicked it again

I have this important recording I was doing and after i finish i clicked on stop recording, it was taking forever on stopping recording so i clicked it againg just out of curiosity and it stopped, i checked my folder where the videos are saved but there was only a video with the first 3 minutes, i was recording for over an hour :( Is there any way i can recover this file? I would really apreciate it. And I was saving it in mkv btw not mp4.

Anyways, you have a bigger issue with 46% of rendering lag and 99% of skiped frames, wich means there's nothing recorded.
You can try updating the video driver directly from Intel's site and see if this helps.

I know it was saved on that folder, but that file (2022-05-12 18-07-32) is only 3 minutes long and I recorded for over 1 hour, I think i must have interrupted the saving process but is there anything I can do? I know my pc is a potato but it is what i have.

That's a sign that you severely overloaded your computer with the recording, so the video encoder within OBS had to skip many frames, and at the end it wasn't able to catch up at all, so starting from some point in time, nothing at all was written to the video file. This is lost.

Use Tools->Auto Configuration Wizard to create a configuration tailored to your hardware.
