Question / Help Fail to start recording, NVEC or AMD encoders

I have installed OBS, but I have never been able to start recording. I have updated my graphics cards and drivers, but I still have the same error message, saying to check my NVEC or AMD encoders. I have reimaged my computer recently (2 weeks ago), which also didn't help. I have verified the adapters are pointing to the right locations on my computer. I've tried changing the GPU setting under the advanced NVEC settings, but it also didn't help. I've looked at past forum posts, but none have been able to help.

I've attached my log file and hope someone can help me out.

As far as I can tell, the Quadro M500M uses the GM108 chipset, which does not support NVENC. Did it ever work before? If not, then it's unlikely to work now, and you'll have to use the "Software (x264)" encoder or the "Hardware (QSV)" encoder. If it did work before, I'm not entirely sure how, but you can try to update your NVIDIA drivers to see if that helps.
