Question / Help Facebook Live unable to find camera if it already with OBS connected

When I connect my USB Logitech webcam to my laptop and then open OBS, the camera is working properly.
Than I start a Facebook Live and FB can't find my camera. So I can' go live.

If my first step is starting with FB Live then Facebook can always find my camera. But then I can't connect OBS to my camera. It doesn't work.

I use already 2 years OBS but I did't meet this problem yet. Till last week was everything ok.
I have already updated my Chrome, my OBS too but nothing helps.
What could be the solution?

Don't try to use the webcam method to stream to facebook.

My integrated cam in my laptop is not so good as my USB Logitech webcam that's why I want to use it. And for two years it worked. And now not.

I 've tested it with my integrated webcam too but the the same problem. It works either with Faceook or with OBS but not with booth....

It has never worked with both at the same time. That's a limitation of webcams period.

If you need to use your webcam with multiple applications, you can try an OBS plugin called VirtualCam. It allows you to create a virtual webcam using OBS -- just set it up to use your webcam, and tell facebook to use the virtual cam instead of your actual webcam.

Thanks for your help! OBS plugin VirtualCam was the solution. Now it works, it works!
