Hi there,
I was using OBS and Avermedia Extremecap u3 for a long time without any problems. But two days ago I don't know what happened, suddenly i got black screen in OBS. Ok I am asking for help guys but first let me inform you what i did to fix this problem.
+ I am trying to capture PS4 screen so I already now there is a HDCP and it is already disabled.
+ I tried 4 different HDMI cables.
+ I am using latest drivers with latest firmware. (I have tried to remove and clean driver install and restarted like million times)
+ I have MSI GE60 notebook with 3.0 usb ports which are perfectly working.
+ I have 2 gpus (1 integrated Intel and Nvidia 850m) - OBS is running with NVIDIA processor.
+ I can capture from my old Xbox360 and from my PC. So I think U3 is still working.
+ When I connect PS4 to my TV it is perfectly fine. So my PS4 HDMI port is also fine.
+ My connection scheme is PS4 HDMI OUT > EXTREMECAPU3 USB 3.0 OUT > PC (so there is no splitter or any other device)
+ I was using Win10 and I thought there might be an update problem so I made a clean install of Win8.1. But again I get blackscreen.
+ I've tried to contact Avermedia Support but they are not helping. What a unprofessional comapany :(
