I experienced this problem too. Not sure what the problem was I changed my buffer to the same amount as my max and also changed the use send buffer to 8192 and it was fixed.
*EDIT*
Happened again today with the major frame drops. It's like the audio is fine but the Video just stops encoding or goes extremely slow. I was playing online and didn't drop out of the match or anything. So I know my internet didn't derp out. Here's the link to the video and on the name of the video I list the time the lag started. I don't have this issue when streaming with xsplit so I know it's not my net. Link to my vid http://www.twitch.tv/kenshinesca/b/339877491#
This happened with v432a the other day and today with v.44a Btw first time I was using Dxtory this time I was using Game source option in .44a. Btw Game ran wayyyyyy better in v.44a FPS was so much better. Keep up the great work with Game Source it makes games run so much better than if I used Game source on Xsplit.
Simple fix for me was just restarting the cast and things just ran smoothly again. But still wish I didn't have to do that.
