Question / Help ESO Black Screen

howdy all

I am having issues getting ElderScrollsOnline to stream w/ game capture. Its the only game i have where i have to use window or monitor to capture it, thats no a big deal, but id like to know why game capture isnt working.

here is a log file. i tried the online log test and it said 0 errors.

Well, that log indicated numerous attempts to capture Wildstar, not ESO. Anyway, I think you need to try running OBS as admin.

Interesting. I was running in admin mode already and in obs I picked eso from the drop down bar of progrms running in game capture. WS wasn't running at all. I'll get a new log after work and try again

Oh, actually *both* programs have to be either run as admin or not run as admin. If they don't match then you're going to have problems.

i do have both running as admin and grabbed a new log whilst running eso in stream preview w/ game capture as the top item in my scene. i also deleted it all started a new scene with on game capture and still black.

added WS and SWTOR game captures back in and they work fine. they dont fill the screen in preview, but they are there.

im dumbfounded lol

So it's *just* ESO then? Eugh, were there any recent updates to the game or something? This would *not* be the first time a game changed the way it did something and broke game capture.

ya its just eso for me. there was an update this week. lot of hidden changes it seems. the addon writers were busy lol
