Question / Help Error that i cant explain

I installed OBS so i can stream on twitch to replace the free version of XSplit. Whenever i start the stream I get an error pop up that says

could not connect to server
RTMPSockBuf_Fill, recv returned -1. GetSockError(): 10054 (An existing
connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)
RTMP_Connect, handshake failed

i had the same issue earlier as did my wife, keep trying to connect and eventually it will work.

Reset your stream key on twitch?

did that, made no difference. it works eventually

A couple of the twitch ingest servers have been having a lot of problems recently.

The spamming reconnect won't solve that. Changing to a different ingest server will.

Settings - Broadcast settings - choose a different server.

And it so happens that i was using Ashburn.
