New issue: this has come up twice on two different (identical models) computers:

Error: Texture->Map failed: 0x887a0005 0x887a0005
Your video card disappeared from the system. Please check for possible hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings.

I uploaded the log for you to take a look. We have many successful recordings. The weird thing is we have an mp4 file which output, with a large file size (around 1gb), but it is unplayable. If there are solutions for this that would be awesome.
I searched this issue, but have not found any solutions!

Thank you!

If your recordings are critical, do not save as MP4, save as FLV, if an FLV gets cut off it can be recovered and converted to MP4. If an MP4 gets cut off, it's unrecoverable. Is that a laptop?

It is an all-in-one touch PC.
Lenovo Thinkcentre e93z running 64bit Windows 8.1 with 8gb of RAM.

Looking through the log there is two graphics adapters. So I'm thinking it may be like that post about laptops having one for performance and one for everyday. Could this be causing this? How do I force program to only use one?

Finally, not sure if related, I have two people on Mac who attempt to play these videos and they appear corrupted, however play fine on PC. I do not have a problem when I try it on my own Mac. They are trying VLC player.

Thank you for your quick response and help. We love the program, easy to use and customizable. Just want to figure out these little glitches.

If you do not already have it set up to run on the nvidia, then you can set it up to run on the nvidia in nvidia control panel -> 3d settings on the left -> global tab on the right -> select nvidia in the drop-down for the adapters -> apply/OK. I seem to see the Texture->Map error on laptops and laptop-like devices, I'm almost totally positive it's because of the switchable graphics but I can't say for 100% sure what the actual cause is because it's completely random and not really replicable. I'd absolutely love to own a computer where this happens frequently, but none of mine ever have it happen, so I'm in the dark on the development side.

So as for your videos, when you play the videos they're fine, but when they play the same exact videos they see corruption? Are you sure they're using VLC on mac? If it's the same exact file and it plays fine on one computer but not the other it's almost always going to be due to the playback software.

So in NVIDA Control Panel.
Manage 3D setting > Global Settings
Preferred graphics processor: High-performance NVIDIA processor.

Should I change the option Set PhysX configuration?
My choose is GeForce GT 720A or CPU or Auto-select.
I'm assuming GeForce GT 720A.

Thanks for your assistance. It's easier to use .mp4, so as long as we fix this issue. We should be good.

This isn't for PhysX, this was just the 'Manage 3D Settings' thing. Yes, that was correct. Let me know if it helps at all.

So I made that change. I wanted to see what the PhysX Setting should be. I assume PhysX is better on the more powerful setting over basic cpu. Thoughts?
