Bug Report ERROR Message - An unspecified error occurred while recording

Hello,

Once, out of 3-4 times, I press record (my shortcut button to record, which has always been assigned to) and I immediately get this message "An unspecified error occurred while recording" and my recording stops. OBS only records for less than a second. OBS stays open when this message pops up, it does not crash.

Only started happening in the last month or so.

Thanks for this.

Though, when I extract the files from the QuickTime.exe (vr 7.7.9), only these are extracted:

My OS is 64bit which no .msi is showing.

I've tried extracting the files from the latest Window QuickTime version (7.7.9) and 7.6 and I'm given the same results.

My OBS current log shows:
1566228269140.png


Not sure if I'm missing something.

I would look in the iTunes installer instead of the QuickTime one. The last time I did this, I believe all the necessary files were in the iTunes archive. Did not check the QuickTime one.

I get a similar problem when I hit my replay buffer hotkey, but it crashes obs and doesn't save my clip. Would the above files also work for that?
