A BETTER AUDIO METER!
It seems like this has been brought up in past posts over the course of the previous 6 years, but can OBS PLEASE update the audio meters? A max peak read out number? A little better resolution so we can actually read the numbers on the meter?
Very tiny improvements-but this will really help a lot of issues. It's kind of...no, it is a nightmare to calibrate levels if using anything outside OBS to process audio (ie sending test tone to OBS), the best you can do is squint and make a guess. 1db off can make a big difference in this territory (broadcast penalties) and proper METER READINGS should be anything but an afterthought. I believe this will help a lot of people's issues with levels, clipping, even my friend above's EQ issue could be improved. Everything works better WHEN YOU CAN CALIBRATE YOUR METERS! Even the current filters OBS offers will work better! Stop the guesswork...
