Question / Help Entire setup suddenly gone

after a hiatus of about a year and a half, I decided on streaming again a bit. Using my old setup (with updates ofc), everything was still working fine, except the splits. I couldnt fit them in the screen properly, but since I was going to switch split programs (from Wsplit to Livesplit) anyway, this wasnt a big deal.

After some work, I finally managed to get the splits, webcam, and game used (Orcs must Die 2) functioning properly. I saved the settings, and quit the program. A little later I started the program and... everything was gone. My sound was still right, but no webcam, no game, none of my old programs were registered (psx emulator, snes emulator, pc games). I fiddled around with settings, but it was just a small black screen on OBS and wouldnt pick up anything or even allow me to change the scenes.

I tried removing the scenes and re-adding them, but to no avail. When I try to re-apply my webcam, its horribly distorted as well.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated, or even slight hints as to what the problem might have been.

I just removed -everything- from my scenes, to work on a fresh new setup. I get this odd problem on my log though:

Hook conflict detected

Game capture detected a hook conflict but was unable to determine which application was responsible. Try closing any other applications that may be injecting into your game, such as FRAPS, D3DGear, MSI Afterburner, AMD Raptr / Gaming Evolved, Action!, TeamSpeak/Mumble Overlays or any other kind of FPS monitor or overlay program

There are no scenes active. The only thing currently being activated is firefox in the background, thats it. I always run the absolute minimum of background programs (antivirus etc), so I cant explain where this is coming from or if this is related to my problem.
