Hi All,

I have a dual PC streaming set up and want the ability to stream and record to multiple outputs e.g stream to youtube / restream for other patforms and record vertically as well as normal record plus capture highlights.

Currently have an old i9 9900k with 32 gb ddr4 3200 mhz and a Asus RTX 2080 i can only stream to 2 platforms youtube and restream at the mo, soon as i startr recording i get over encoding error and stream freezes.

main stream is 1440, the restart is 1080, recording is 1440p and vertical is 1080 p

So question is do i have a powerful enough pc to do what i want already and have set something up wrong?

Or if i need a new pc what spec am i looking for?

URL for OBS log https://obsproject.com/logs/fwFbzRfjhflOi7Sw

Thanks all

Preset P1 is where you should start for all encodes. It's the fastest. Move to slower presets if there's headroom remaining. No shot using P5 & P7 with that many concurrent encodes running.

You're getting about 17% rendering lag, your GPU is overloaded. The SE/overlay/java script errors are performance killers. Fix those first, they're endless. You can also disable Game Bar & Game DVR (Captures)

Here's a multi-stream test I did, all 1080p. Use the log as a guide. Not all the encodes are NVENC due to the driver limit of 3 but more could have been easily added by using faster Presets. The lower res encodes you are doing won't use too much of the encoder. 8 concurrent encodes is now the maximum. Just need to sacrifice compression/quality for speed. Dual encoders in the 4070TI & up...

Yep you were correct, thank you for the help

YW!

I updated to studio driver 560.70 yesterday & gave it a good vetting. Was running (1) H265 recording using P5 along with (7) streams using P2. UHD 770 was encoding an additional 4 for a total of 12 concurrently.

New driver was wonky with one of my monitors but DDU took care of it. Test went great.
